You will also need to send to us by Monday, June 26th the following additional information needed for accreditation:

1. A copy of your FILA/USAW or comparable affiliate membership card (with expiration date shown on copy). All wrestlers participating in the clinic and competing in the tournament will be required to be a member of some FILA affiliate like USA Wrestling and proof of membership (e.g. a copy of your membership card) will need to be provided in advance of the clinic/tournament. This membership is sometimes referred to as a license and provides valuable benefits to you and the event, including insurance coverage and eligibility for official sanctioning.

Wrestlers resident in the United States can obtain memberships from USA Wrestling: http://www.themat.com/membership.php and clicking on the appropriate link for new or renewing membership. You will be asked to select a state (the one where you live) since these memberships are sold through the state wrestling organizations. Some state organizations will let you join online and others will give contact information to join by contacting the state organization directly. Another alternative is to purchase your membership through a local wrestling club such as Golden Gate Wrestling Club in San Francisco. You can locate other clubs by going to Wrestlers Without Borders at http://www.wrestlerswob.com and under Wrestler Services in the lower right corner is a link to locate clubs and resources around the world.

Wrestlers outside of the United States who are not already a member of a FILA affiliate in their native country may obtain memberships from the sources listed above for U.S. residents or locate a local FILA affiliate: http://www.fila-wrestling.com/home/index.php3 (Click on the British Flag on the upper left side for the English version of the site). The lower left side of the FILA homepage contains a drop down box labeled “Federations” to link to the wrestling organization in your country.

2. Proof of age and gender. All wrestlers participating in the clinic and competing in the tournament will also be required to provide a copy of a government-issued document showing age and gender. We will accept a copy of your validly issued driver’s license, passport or birth certificate or other acceptable government-issued document that references your age and gender.

3. Your Gay Games VII Chicago Registration Number

Please note that if we do not receive all of these items from you (signed and completed waiver and consent forms, a copy of your FILA/USAW membership card and proof of age/gender), then you will not be able to participate in the Wrestling Clinic or Tournament.
